Breakthrough! installation with visitors

Whether this is your first visit or the latest in several, you can see on the "In Collections" page that my subject matter has tended towards the highly recognizable and representative. Until now, only the Chakra series and Sanctum II somewhat successfully departed from my safety zone. I've been discovering that the limitations of my eyesight have naturally led me to investigating the light and color that live in "the spaces in-between", and that this shift in perspective directly correlates to my experience in spiritual practice. As my guru emphasizes, whatever we notice or react to outside ourselves mirrors our inner condition. Still working representationally using intensely cropped photos of flowers as reference, I find myself charting my interior, heart-focused journey via the resulting images. I call this style and subject Intra-Realism.
